3000R Double Diamond

The Double Diamond convertible perfector takes its name from the inline coating towers located before the sheet-reversing unit and after the final printing unit. The Double Diamond can print with conventional inks, energy-curable inks and coatings, and combination hybrid/aqueous applications. Automatically convertible perfecting up to six-over-six and the ability to coat both sides of the sheet in one pass improve pressroom productivity and add value to two-sided, multicolor products. In the perfecting mode, the press can process thin paper up to 12-point board. When converted to straight printing, it easily handles paper and board stock up to 24 points, as well as specialty substrates. The high image quality brings the best out of covers, annual reports and packaging-related materials.
